Is Your Value Up For Debate? Check This Non-crypto Currency Out

The Currency of Worth. . .

And the One That Can’t Be Cashed In, Right?

Cash was once everything. Flash a few bills, and doors opened. Then gold—shiny, scarce, and stashed in guarded vaults. Then diamonds—marketed as forever, but really just carbon under pressure. After that? Sapphire glass. Rare-earth metals. Things buried deep and dug up to signal status.

Now we’ve got Ethereum, Bitcoin, and coins with dogs on them. Somehow, they all scream: worth.

But let’s pause.

What Actually Makes Something Valuable?

Is it rarity? Popularity? Usefulness? Or is it just... perception?

We chase what sparkles. We invest in trends, hoping they’ll lift us up. We flex cars, clothes, gadgets, likes, followers—currencies that help us feel like we matter. We measure ourselves by them. Live by them. Judge others with them.

But there’s a catch:

All of them are temporary.

Gold can be stolen. Crypto can crash. Followers unfollow. Cool goes cold.

Even the “social currencies” we depend on—talent, influence, beauty, connection—they’re fragile too. They get old. They break. They burn out.

So what do we do when that happens?

We scramble. We post more. Work more. Prove more. Hustle until it hurts—hoping to be seen, liked, validated. Hoping someone, somewhere, will say: “You’re enough.”

But what if you didn’t have to earn that?

What If Your Value Wasn't Up For Debate?

Before stocks existed, before crypto was mined, before likes were a thing—your worth had already been settled.

And it wasn’t stamped on metal.
It was carved into flesh.

“See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.” —Isaiah 49:16

That’s not metaphor. That’s sacrifice.

It wasn’t written in pen or tattooed on skin—it was driven in with nails. Not as a branding. As a rescue.

Picture it: a Roman cross.
Splintered wood.
Hammer. Nails. Blood.
And your name, in the middle of all that.

“You were bought at a price.” —1 Corinthians 6:20

Not rented. Not leased. Bought.

Your Worth Is Not a Trend

You can’t outgrow it. You can’t ruin it. It doesn’t depend on your grades, your hustle, your feed, or your feed-back. The currency of heaven was spent—and you were the purchase.

That makes you:

  • Undeniable

  • Unshakeable

  • Unlosable

The world will try to sell you newer, shinier currencies of worth every day. It’ll tell you to upgrade, update, outperform. But those currencies fade. They always do.

You? You’re engraved.

Not liked.
Not followed.
Known. Chosen. Bought.

So here’s the real question:

What are you letting define your value—
and what would change if you believed your worth was already set in blood?
