Are Allergies Kicking In? Read This...
Allergies are a reaction of the immune system to common substances known as allergens. In some people the immune system reacts to these allergens by triggering an allergic reaction. Some allergic common reactions are wheezing, coughing, red, itchy, and watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, hay fever, and in some cases swelling. These symptoms can be very uncomfortable and sometimes overwhelming.
Here are a few things you can do to avoid or to help reduce, alleviate, or even eliminate the allergic reactions:
Avoid the allergens that’s causing the allergic reaction.
Stay away from process foods. Many substances that create allergic reactions are found in process foods.
Avoid foods that have Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) which is a flavor enhancer often added to foods, canned vegetables, soups, deli meats and other foods. Reading food labels is important.
Limit or eliminate foods that cause mucus production, such as dairy products.
Things you can do to protect against allergic reactions:
Start eating or increase the intake of vegetable. Nutrient-dense vegetables protect against and reduce allergic reactions.
Try to get a high-quality air filter.
Do a 3 to 7 day cleanse every two to three months.
Dr. Russell Blaylock in his book Prescription for Natural Health recommends taking the following supplements to help with allergies: Magnesium Malate and Citrate, Vitamin C, Quercetin, Luteolin, Apigenin, and Curcumin.
