Heavy Metal Toxins: Let's take a deep dive

Toxic metals, including "heavy metals," are individual metals and metal compounds that negatively affect people's health. Heavy metals, like arsenic, lead, mercury, and others, are all around us. They’re in the ground we walk on, in the air, in the water we drink, and in the products we use every day. High levels of most heavy metals can cause health problems. Common toxic metals are aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, and nickel. Nickel is widely used as a catalyst to harden fats. It is found in most margarines, commercial peanut butter, and hardened shortening. It is in drinking water, refined and process foods, superphosphate fertilizers, and tobacco smoke. Aluminum contamination is a major health threat today. High levels are showing up in the human body. Absorption of aluminum by the body is associated with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and dialysis dementia. It also lowers the body’s immune system. Pots and pans, foil, antacids, and baking powder are common items with aluminum. Arsenic is in our environment as a by-product of industry. It is in the air, in pesticide plant spray, and in coal fired boilers. Cadmium is a by-product of industry and is extremely widespread. It is in the air, soil, and water. We acquire it by absorbing it through our tissues. It affects the pancreas and spleen. It can produce serious health problems. Lead causses gradual buildup of chronic problems. It also decreases immunity to diseases. Mercury is not only toxic, but has an affinity for proteins, attaching itself to blood cells and interfering with the function of the glands, nervous system, and the brain. It has potentially dangerous effect on the lungs, heart, liver, and kidneys.

Protection Against Toxic Metals

Vitamin A: Is necessary for the cells to be able to eliminate the toxic metal.

Vitamin B-complex: Protects the immune system. They protect the nerve sheath and prevent lead from damaging the nervous system.

Vitamin C with bioflavonoids: Stimulates natural interferon production in the body.

Distilled water: Is a natural chelation.

Calcium: Is an indispensable mineral; it actually penetrates the bones and slowly displaces lead. It prevents accumulation of lead from the intestinal tract. The best calcium is an herbal calcium formula.

Garlic: Is rich is sulphur, which attract metals and eliminates the from the body. Garlic contains germanium and selenium with chelation ability to neutralize heavy metal toxicity.

Herbs containing sulphur are excellent to protect the body from heavy metal toxicity. Some of those herbs are horseradish, watercress, alfalfa, echinacea, burdock, dandelion, onions, sarsaparilla, parsley, chaparral, nettle, and kelp.
